LEVEL WOUND COILS Level wound coils are especially adapted to long production runs and can be supplied in lengths over 300 metres ( 1000ft) .

The chief advantage is the consistency of diameter which enables the coil to be played off a mandrel for long production runs STRAIGHT LENGTHS STRAIGHT LENGTHS Available in 5.8 metre lengths and on request usually in " hard " temper or if specified - " soft " temper.
Crane Enfield has the capacity to cut lengths as short as 1/ 2 " accurately. Mill tolerances achievable are to within ± 0, 0625 " ( 1.59mm) STRAIGHT LENGTHS STRAIGHT LENGTHS .
